Hey everyone, wow, this has been a very busy summer. The job hunt went on forever and FINALLY I got an interview. I still dont know if I'll get the job, but I'm REALLY hoping I do! The location (VA Beach) and job itself have so much to offer, I would just love it.

Anyways, whether or not I get the job, currently I am quite poor, since i wasnt able to take on a summer job (no one would hire someone for a month or two). And after doing some apartment hunting and realizing how much of a down payment you have to put down, Wow! Thats a lot! And I really want to get a dog too, but the initial deposit for a dog is $350!!!

I want to try and get some money saved so that I can at least help my parents pay the down payment and dog fee...Thats a lot for them to pay you know? So far I have almost $200 saved up, wait... no probably more like $175 now... oi...

I was thinking of possible ways to get money, and the best idea i had to possibly get a LITTLE money is to take some art commissions. The thing is, I know i'm not an amazing artist, and doing a piece of art does take me quite a while, so i cant take on anything to crazy right now due to time constraints (I'm hoping to move out in less then a month if i get the job).

Soooo, with that all said and done, I'm open to the following types of commissions:

*Portrait/Bust shot of character (any species) done in regular style with a simple background (exs.[link] , [link] , [link] )- $10-$15 depending on how 'simple' or 'complex' the character is to draw.

*Full Body Shot of a DOG only! Done in my regular style with a simple background. Sorry, dogs are by far the easiest for me to draw and least time consuming!- $20-$25 depending on the simplicity or complexity of the dog.

Oh yeah, right now I can only accept payment through paypal... Well, I don't expect too much excitement over this offer, since I am still an amateur and the prices aren't dirt cheap. But, if anyone IS interested in a commission I would really really appreciate it and make sure that you picture turned out awesome! So please note me if you want to help me out and get a nice picture!
